The last week of my life for the year!

The last quarter of 2024.

Where am I now? In my most recent week in my life blog post, I just moved to Melbourne and started post-grad life.

If you’re new here, I typically do a week-in-a-life blog post every quarter because they’re fun to look back on. You can check out my most recent posts at the end.

How have routines been lately?

Currently, I’m doing an internship/placement which is the final step I need to do before I begin applying for admission. This internship is at a law firm and I do this 9 to 5.

I will explain what each day typically looks like. Of course, it doesn’t look the same every week as there would be numerous things that could come up, where I need to adjust my schedule. For now, these are my fixed activities.

Monday

I am currently doing the internship 9 to 5 on Monday! Another fixed commitment is church in the evening.

  • 5:20am – wakeup, do morning habits
  • 6:00am-6:30am – morning walk
  • 6:30am-7:15am – breakfast and get ready
  • 7:15am-9am – drive to train station, catch train into the city; while on the train, I do my content creation work.
  • 9am-5pm – internship
  • 5pm-6:30pm – train back, and then drive straight to church
  • 6:30pm – onwards – church

Tuesday, Wednesday, & Thursday

Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays are also my full 9 to 5 and have the same schedule with the same habits.

  • 5:20am – wakeup, do morning habits
  • 6:00am-6:30am – morning walk
  • 6:30am-7:15am – breakfast and get ready
  • 7:15am-9am – drive to the train station, catch train to city, do content work on the train.
  • 9am-5pm – work
  • 5pm-7pm – train back, drive home
  • 7pm-onwards – flexible activities (I try do some of my weekly habits, or there would be things that would pop up)

Friday

Friday looks different compared to the rest of the week as I work from home, I finish at 4pm, and I go to church in the evening.

  • 5:20am – wakeup, morning habits
  • 6:00am-6:30am- morning walk
  • 6:30am-7:00am – breakfast and get ready
  • 7:00am-9:00am – content creation tasks
  • 9:00am-4:00pm – work from home
  • 4:00pm-5:00pm – any content creation tasks leftover
  • 5:00pm onwards – church

Saturday & Sunday

Saturdays are when I have church activities and Sunday is a completely flexible day.

While Saturdays are usually fixed with church activities, Sundays change from time to time. It’s usually when I try to fit in catch-ups or solo dates.

To Wrap Up

So, the next time I do another week in my life blog post, it’ll be 2025! It’s an exciting thought on how it will turn out by then.
