For the second quarter of 2024!
We’re officially in a new quarter. Around every quarter, I aim to post a week in my life. I love doing these because they are so cool to look back on down the track.
Where I am now? As of April 2024, I am in my last law school semester. I no longer work part-time as paralegal anymore due to a lay off, so I’ve been searching for roles (either while I’m still studying or at least, after I study). I am still doing workshops and I balance pretty well other commitments too.
If you want to binge-read my other week in my life posts, you can find them at the end of the blog post.
In this blog post, I will briefly explain what each day typically looks like. I am very flexible with my schedule, especially when I need to book appointments, catch up with friends, and other activities from other commitments.
For example, I will include “white space time” which means that it’s extra time that I would use depending on what else I need to get done that day.
Let’s dive in.
Monday – At Home
On Mondays, I have no classes so I have more flexibility with my schedule around this time.
This is usually my basic plan for the day which is easy to switch around when I need to change the schedule:
- 5:00am – wakeup
- 5:00am-5:30am – morning habits
- 5:30am-7:00am – creative/content work
- 7:00am-7:30am – morning walk
- 7:30am-8:00am – breakfast & get ready (even if I’m going to be at home all day, I still dress up because it helps me feel productive)
- 8:00am-12:00pm – study & work on assessments
- 12:00pm-1:00pm – lunch break
- 1:00pm-5:00pm – job hunt/search
- 5:00pm-5:30pm – dinner
- 5:30pm-onwards – white space time*
*let’s say for example, I have a doctor’s appointment or friend catch up at 1pm, I still have some extra “white space time” to do the tasks I normally set for 1pm (job hunting).
Sometimes I will also have a church event, networking event, or some other activity that I schedule in.

Saturday & Sunday
Saturdays are when I have church, and Sunday is a completely flexible day. It’s mainly when I do my weekly reset, as well as other tasks too.
Take a SMALL STEP
This is different to my typical blog posts where I would tell you how to apply the tips I’ve shared.
Since there were no tips applied here, hopefully, this blog post gave some inspo to organize your week and be more productive :))
To Wrap Up
And that wraps up my FINAL week in my life as a law student. I can’t wait until the next quarter when I am out of law school, and see how the schedule plays out then.
In the meantime, if you like more resources on improving your productivity, the Free Resources Library has some resources including a mini-e-book to help out! You can check it out here.
