Universal Studios (USA 2017; Day 6)

Universal Studios (USA 2017; Day 6)

June 25, 2020

If there was one thing mom was right about coming into Universal Studios, it would be that we shouldn’t expect that we will run into world-famous actors…

Learning from our experience yesterday with the crazy LA traffic, we left out apartel just after 6:30am to make our way to Universal Studios.

Since the GPS pretty much predicted that it will take us more than an hour and a half to arrive, I took advantage of it and took a nap knowing that today will be another long day…

Suddenly, after 1 hour and a half of napping later, we arrived at Universal Studios! The park didn’t open until 10am so we walked through CityWalk and stopped at Starbucks…

The sign I woke up to…

When we finally got to Universal Studios, we of course took some pictures in front of the famous signs.

So excited to be here!
Love this place!

Our first stop in Universal Studios was one place we were longing to go to, the Wizarding World of Harry Potter!!

We decided to go and line up for the ride – Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey before we go and take some pictures. The ride was incredible because it all felt so real. It is safe to say that this was one of my favourite rides by far, even though it was the first ride we went on.

Once we finished the ride, we went on a roller coaster just across from the Forbidden Journey. Just after, we spent the next 15-20 minutes taking our must-needed photos everywhere at Hogwarts.

I LOVED this place and I am pretty sure that I am not the only muggle who had said that. I don’t think I want to go back to school, I’ll just enrol at Hogwarts.

Pretty proud of this photography and edit…
Hogwarts (insert heart eyes!!)
Look familiar? 😉
Can’t wait to ride this!!

The Muggles are ready for the ride!

Just after we said a temporarily farewell to Hogwarts, we explored all the other parts of Universal Studios…

Even the minion is taller than me 🙁

We were all able to go on a few more rides such as:

  • The Simpsons Ride
  • Revenge of the Mummy – it was such a short ride but it brought the thrills.
  • Transformers Ride
  • The Walking Dead – hands down the most scariest attraction here. There were zombies everywhere about to come close to me and I screamed so much to the point that everyone around me could’ve turned deaf. I also offended a few people by screaming in their faces because I thought that they were one of the zombies (Whoops!)

YAY!

Just before 12pm, we went to the World-Famous Studio Tour! This would be the second time we got to go on this, but I was just as excited. Sadly, I did not spot any famous actors or celebrities (just like what my mom predicted).

Studio Tour….
An actual filming schedule?

Stage 44 – my movie and TV show…
Here is a random cool set…
More sets….
It is not shown here, but they placed a moving fake shark in the water that could’ve popped up anytime soon (and it did!) I got wet though…
The representation of my grades if I don’t catch up when I come back #crash

Just after our studio tour, we went to grab some lunch. Afterwards, we walked around some more to burn off all the food we ate.

We eventually came around to riding more rides such as the Despicable Me ride and the Jurassic Park ride (which we got wet in but by some miracle my eye makeup survived). We also watched the Waterworld Show and went back to Hogwarts to finally try the butterbeer.

My eye makeup survived!
Butterbeer… YES!
Churros with Ice Cream FTW!
Views….
The Waterworld Show…
Awww love…

Soon enough, our time in Universal Studios was over! We spent the rest of the night having dinner at an Italian seafood restaurant, and walking around at CityWalk.

My feet was huring by the end of the night and it stressed me out that I had a luggage to pack by the time we go back to the apartel…

In less than 24 hours, it will be back to reality 🙁
