I’m so excited to write this blog post!
If you don’t have the password to the Free Resource Library, click here!
If you do, go straight here and go back to this post for your reference!
This was kind of spontaneous. I didn’t plan to write a blog post specifically for the Free Resource Library that has been in the works for months. But because I love writing blogs anyway, why not?
To be completely honest, the Free Resource Library was created for a few reasons.
First, before I started a blog, I wanted to open my own store filled with planners and journals. However, because of my low self-belief, I didn’t go through with it. Even though I had already created journal templates and planners, I never did anything with it.
Flash forward to almost two years later, I’m now launching those journal templates and planners that I created in this Free Resource Library (although I have slightly revised them to reflect more on what I’ve learned those past two years). The reason why I decided to make them free instead was because I wanted to provide free resources in my blog anyway, and using those were a start.
And the third reason is that it’s also the first step towards me launching a digital store on my blog! Along with the journal templates and planners I had mentioned, I had also created a few more new resources! It became good practice for me with creating paid products, and with what I want to put in the future LAURENBARRI store anyway!
And BAM! Just like that, the Free Resource Library is officially launched and I’m writing this blog post on how YOU can make the most of this!
And to be completely honest with you, I have thoughts in the back of my head thinking that people will think that it’s stupid, or who am I to even create these resources when I’m not the most “perfect person to do them”. But then, I remember that those people who actually think that way isn’t going to be worth it for me.
So for those of you who do support me and this blog of mine, I am grateful for all of you. This blog post is for you.
Let’s dive in.

TIPS for Using the FREE RESOURCE LIBRARY
So nothing can go wrong with adding a few extra tips right? Here are a few of my tips to making the most out of this:
1 – Have the Page Saved Somewhere
For you to have easy access to it all the time, bookmark the page or save it as a favourite page. This is so you can easily just click on it whenever you need to access a new resource.
2 – Save the Resources into a Folder
Since all the resources are on PDF file, you can save them onto your computer and put them all into a folder.
This is so you can easily find it, print it out if you need to, and whatever you need to do with it!
3 – Make a STACKED copy of the journal template resources
For the journal templates, it may be a good idea to print a stacked copy of those. For example, with the reflection prompts, there is only one page of reflections prompts for the day. That’s why, it may be idea to print a month’s worth of that daily reflection prompt.
This is so you can save time in trying to print it every time.
Same with the Book Takeaways Template and the Habits & Goals Tracker.
4 – Download the e-books into an iPad or Tablet
If you want to save paper, you can download the e-books into the device of your choice! Even though there are action steps that require you to fill some things out, you can always take a separate notebook and complete those exercises in there!
5 – Save the PASSWORD!
Here’s the thing. This Free Resource Library is password protected. Don’t worry though, it’s an easy password to remember! But still, write it down or save it somewhere where you can find it in case you forget.
If ever you forget the password, you can contact me here, and I’ll send it right to you! (don’t worry, I forget my passwords sometimes too!)
How to Make the Most out of The FREE RESOURCE LIBRARY
So what specifically is in the Free Resource Library and how do you use the resources?
When you put the password in, and you get access to the free resource library, the page will show all the resources as a description of each of those resources! You’re able to click on every resource to automatically download it… it’s that easy!
But here’s a brief description of each of the current resources anyway:
E-BOOKS
There are three e-books for you read so far in this free resource library! You can guarantee that there will be more to come!
These books include:
SMALL Steps to PROGRESSION
This is the first book I have ever launched on laurenbarri.com! You’re able to sign up for it to get the electronic copy emailed to you, or you can just access it in the free resource library.
If you haven’t read the book yet, it’s all about uncovering the small steps to progression in your personal growth journey!
SMALL Steps to SELF-CARE
If you can see the pattern so far, the e-books are part of the “Small Steps” series. This e-book specifically focuses on the small steps to self-care.
It’s a mini e-book, but pinky promise there’s a lot of value in there you can benefit from!
SMALL Steps to PRODUCTIVITY
This is another book as part of the “Small Steps” series! It’s another mini e-book, but still a lot of value for you to learn. This goes through the ways to enhance your productivity in a way that releases the toxicity around productivity.
Annual Quotes Book 2021
This e-book is pretty much a compilation of my posts from 2021! Just take my Instagram feed in 2021, and compile it in a book! The purpose for this resource is for you to either print them out, use them as screensavers, or do whatever you need with them!
MINI GUIDES
The Free Resource Library also has two incredible mini guides that will help you with setting yourself up for a successful week or month!
With these mini guides, you can easily print them out (since it’s only a few pages), or you can save it somewhere to easily use it!
WEEKLY Reset Mini Guide
This mini guide is all about how to do a weekly reset! It includes every single step to doing this weekly reset. This resource is to be used to set yourself up for an amazing and productive week!
MONTHLY Reset Mini Guide
This mini guide includes how to do a monthly reset! Like with the weekly reset, it includes every single step to doing your monthly reset. This will be your best friend every month so you can set yourself up for a great month moving forward with your personal growth and goals!
JOURNAL & PLANNER TEMPLATES
Guess what, you’re getting instant access to the first resources I’ve ever created!
These were the planners and journal templates I created for the purpose of creating a shop. But instead, I’m including this in the Free Resource Library! While I am creating better journals and planners to eventually put in the future LAURENBARRI shop, I still felt that these original creations were worth sharing anyway… hence it’s available in the FREE Resource Library!
Journal Reflection Planner
These include morning & evening reflection prompts, as well as prompts for goal setting! You can download and print them to fill them out. You can also print batched copies of the morning & evening reflection prompts so you have enough for the month or year!
Fun Fact: Even though I never launched this planner until now, after I completed it, I printed a year’s worth of morning & evening reflection prompts and used it for an entire year! It showed to me that it’s a valuable resource that is worth sharing with other people!
Goals & Habits Tracker
These also include prompts for your monthly & weekly habits and goals, as well as prompts for your weekly accomplishments! Just like with the reflection planner, you can print this out to fill it up! You can also print several batched copies of the prompts so you can have enough for the month or week!
Book Takeaways Journal
This is a template for you to use to benefit from the books you read!
It includes a list of all the books you have read, and a template to write down your favourite quotes & takeaways from what you’ve read!
This is a must-download if you are a reader, and need a place to write down notes!
WORKBOOKS
Goal Setting Workbook
The only workbook available so far (there will be more added soon!) is the Goal Setting workbook! This is a step-by-step guide to setting your goals and creating a plan to achieve them.
AND THAT’S IT!
Creating this resource library is a dream come true! Since I started my blog, I’ve always wanted to create more helpful free resources for you to use. Most importantly, these are resources that I’m so proud of… I would never launch any resource if I wasn’t proud of it.
When I finally saw the resource library coming together, I got emotional for a moment… it’s been in the works for a while! I bet everyone loves that feeling of seeing something you’ve worked on for a long time, finally come to life.
So a big thank you to everyone who had supported my blog and everything I do! Whether you just follow me on Instagram, like my Instagram posts, downloaded my book, or just read my blog posts in general, it means so much!
And if you have benefited from any of these resources in the Free Resource Library, please let me know! You can tag me on Instagram, or send me a direct message!
