Lawyer life!
Welcome to a Week in My Life blog post as a lawyer. If you are new to this blog, I do week-in-my life blog posts every few months so I can look back and see how far I have come in years to come. My previous week in my life blog posts are at the end of this post.
Where am I now? In my recent week in my life blog post, I am working full-time as a lawyer! Life is still the same, I’m still a lawyer, and I have the same routines.
How have routines been lately?
I work full-time, 9 to 5, from Monday to Friday.
Just like my previous week in my life blog posts, I will explain what each day typically looks like. It doesn’t look the same every week, however, there are many activities that are on my fixed schedule.
Monday
I am currently working from 9 to 5 on Monday. I usually don’t have any fixed activities after work. That’s when I’m most free to plan catch-ups, attend networking events, go on solo dates, have at-home dates, and participate in church activities, among other things.
- 5:00am – wake up, morning habits (reading, journal, Spanish learning, plus strength training)
- 6:00am – leave house for the train station
- 6:00am-6:40am – train ride to the city while I do my content work
- 6:40am-7:10am – arrive in the city, then do my morning walk
- 7:10am-8:45am – freshen up, do more content work, post content, and have breakfast
- 9:00am-5:00pm – work
- 5:00pm onwards – any activities planned for the day

Tuesday, Thursday, & Friday
Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday are also my full 9 to 5. It’s the same schedule as Monday.
Sometimes on Fridays, I work from home, so it saves the commuting :))
Wednesday
Wednesday is also the full 9 to 5. The only fixed commitment I have afterward is church in the evenings.
- 5:00am – wakeup, morning habits
- 6:00am – leave the house for the train station
- 6:00am-6:40am – train ride to the city while I do my content work
- 6:40am-7:10am – arrive in the city, then do my morning walk
- 7:10am-8:45am – freshen up, do more content work, post content, and have breakfast
- 9:00am-5:00pm – work
- 5:00pm-6:00pm – train ride back, do content work, church
- 6:00pm onwards – church

Saturday & Sunday
Saturdays are when I have choir practice, church, and other church activities. Sunday is a completely flexible day.
While Saturday I get pretty busy with church activities, Sundays change from time to time. I either have a bunch of activities going on, or I have some rest. Either way, I fit in my weekly reset routine somewhere in the day to set myself up for the week.
To Wrap Up
I’m pretty excited to see where the next few months take me, so looking forward to checking in with the next week-in-my-life blog post then.
See you then x
