I wrote this book three years ago. Then, law school got in the way and I became a lawyer. I forgot this book existed.
I first wrote a book in 2021. This is the book that you can download for free to this day: Small Steps to Progression.
I remember how excited I was when I finally shared that book with the world and launched it on my blog. I also remember how much I enjoyed the writing process.
So, that’s why I made it a new goal to write another book, a book published on Amazon, AND a paid book.
I started writing it the following year in 2022.
I first began writing about time management. However, more than halfway through the book, I realised that something wasn’t clicking. So I scrapped that one and started a new book from scratch.
Then the book became something else entirely. I started writing a book inspired by all the topics I wrote about in my blog. The book reflects everything I was learning when I was 21 and what I was blogging about.
It took me 3 months to finish writing 500 pages and 40 chapters. By September 2022, I hired one of my internet friends, who happened to be an editor, to help me refine the book, and she was a huge help!
By the end of the year, it was fully edited. Done.
You’d think I’d publish it next, right?
Well, nope.
2.5 years later
Life got in the way. I was focusing on law school, focused on my career path to become a lawyer, travelled, and a bunch of other things in between. The book just sat quietly on my computer.
Of course, you can justify my busy life for why I delay publishing it. However, it turns out, publishing the book is the easiest process. The truth was that I delayed publishing it because of my self-doubt, not because I didn’t have time.
But this year, finally, something shifted.
I wanted to honour this past hard work and finally do the thing I said I would do. I wanted to keep the promise I made to the person who first wrote this.
So, I reopened the manuscript, read it with fresh eyes, made a few tweaks, and stopped making edits. I started the self-publishing process on Amazon, and now it’s here once and for all.
What you can expect
This is a 500+ page personal development book. It’s info-PACKED.
You’ll learn how to improve your life in five key areas:
- Personal Development
- Productivity
- Habits
- Self-Care
- Routines
If you’ve been reading my blog for a while, you know I love to end every post with a “Taking a Small Step” section.
This book follows that same style. Every chapter closes with practical, small steps to help you implement what you’ve just read.
Not only is the book info-packed, but it’ll be filled with small steps. If you have been reading my blog for a while, you know that I love to end every blog post with Taking a Small Step.
How to get it!
Right now, you can buy the book in two formats through Amazon!:
- Kindle (eBook) – the most affordable and accessible option – $11.99 AUD*
- Paperback – available via Amazon.com (note: Australians will need to order through the U. S store, not Amazon.com.au. I highly recommend the Kindle version at this stage because shipping from USA can get expensive) – $30.00 USD*
*The price will automatically convert to your country’s currency and the place you’re purchasing from!
Heads up, due to printing restrictions, paperback may not be available in every country, but Kindle is accessible worldwide.
