It all went by so fast, it’s now my final day in Vanuatu…
It was a beautiful Sunday morning, so it was the day of the worship service. Embracing the last morning view that I’ll ever have, I got ready for the worship service.
It was also the last bus ride to the place of worship, the last time that I would have to struggle to get down the hill, and the last time that I would spend time with these amazing people….
After worship service ended, we made our way to Teouma for Bible Study, where I did my last jungle adventure, and had my last coconut drink…
Here, I got to experience something new again, eating a meal cooked underground served on a leaf. For my drink, I had another coconut…
My last time in Teouma was also the last time I got to spend with some of the people. We got back to the hotel to rest for a bit before we went to our next bible study in Blacksands…
After the Blacksands bible study, we had to decide what were going to do for my final last night here. I couldn’t decide between enjoying some swim time and Irkiki Island one last time, or just having a relaxing massage.
We initially went to Irikiki Island first only to discover that the pool was closed and only the restaurant was open. So I ended up going to the massage place and decided to relax one last time.
Right after my massage, we walked down the city for the last time and went to the store to eat my favourite chicken for the last time..
And that wraps up all my Vanuatu blogs… yes I delayed writing this blog because I had the post holiday blues for weeks…
