Day 2 at Disney brought out my five year old self…
For the first time in weeks, I was actually so motivated to wake up. I didn’t even need to snooze my alarm once. Going back to Disney for a second day contributed to that…
Just like yesterday, we drove to the Disney car park and took a shuttle to the theme parks. Soon enough, we were back at Disney.
We all came well prepared today, we made a list of all the rides we wanted to go on first, and which rides we should get a “Fastpass” for. Yes, even having fun requires organisation…
Entering back into the park brought back my 11 year old self memories from the last time I was here. I knew that I had to make the very most of today because it may take another 5 years until I will come back again…
In the morning, we rode multiple rides:
- Car Land Radiator Spring Racers – the ride that we wanted to go on in 2012, but the lines were 2 hours long because it was a new ride then. This was one of my favourite rides!
- Ariel Undersea Water Adventure – malfunctioned 5 times, heard “Under the Sea” on repeat…
- Toy Story Mania – surprised that this ride didn’t malfunction.
- Mickey’s Fun Wheel – the swinging ferris wheel that scared the heck out of Taylor. I swore that she was going to pee her pants.
- Guardians of the Galaxy – formerly the Tower of Terror… another one of my favourite rides that gave me the thrills!
- California Screamin – my FAVOURITE roller coaster ever! I hope that one day I will go on a roller coaster better than this, but I loved this ride so much, I went on it again (the lines were like only one minute long).
Those were all the rides we went on from that morning that I remember from the top of my head. I was having a pretty amusing time so far.
Just before 12pm, we went to the Hyperion Theater to watch Frozen… Live! When we entered the theater, we were fooled. Since it was so hot outside, I couldn’t wait to be in air con, but when we went inside…
it was still outside!
We still had to wait another half an hour to get into the actual theater to watch the show.
Eventually, we finally went into the theater and it was nice and cool. Soon enough, the show started.
From beginning to end, the entire musical was AMAZING. I was actually so mind blown by how much I LOVED it! (it was way better than the actually movie!). It took me 3 years to finally get the frozen songs out of my head and now, I will be singing it again and it will piss people off…
I still won’t watch the film again since the live musical was so much better, and it just enhanced my love for theater more!
Soon after the entertaining show. We ate lunch at “Award Weiners” (Yes this is pun intended, but I did not come up with it… it’s the name of the place we ate for lunch!).
Afterwards, we took a walk around and eventually made our way to Disney’s Animation Studios…
My sister and I took a animation drawing class. We were taught how to draw some character from the Guardians of the Galaxy. To anyone who wondered if it improved my drawing skills… it didn’t.
I can tell that my drawing skills haven’t improved because my sister was hysterically laughing at my drawing… that was one big sign…
After the class, we walked around the animation studios for a bit before we went back out to the park and walked around. We went on a few more rides, and had some ice cream afterwards.
Hollywood Studios Soft Serve from Cars Land Something I never had before…
Although it was a very hot day, I had a blast today. We left before 6pm to do some more shopping and meet with our relatives for dinner…
And just like that, another day was over. Time does fly by really fast when you are having fun.
I missed you Disney, and I’ll miss you again… but I am coming back!
